There wasn’t a massive amount of work going on in May, but I chalk it up to the fact that my computer was being couriered across the pacific ocean! That’s right, May was busy in another way, as I moved back from Canada to New Zealand in order to focus on my illustration work.
That isn’t to say that I got nothing done! Here are another 4 maps that will be going into my Patreon queue. The first three flesh out my selection of city-centric maps with a couple of wall locations and a busy marketplace. The last one is the lair of a black dragon, based very closely on an encounter I ran in my last long-form home campaign.
I also did a few personal pieces, illustrating one of my D&D characters, Kelthael. He’s had a hard time lately in game, and I wanted to try my hand at a style with less hard lines. A certain discussion also unearthed the fact that Kel is a lot like Kronk from Emperor’s New Groove, so of course I had to draw a costume swap.
Finally, a campaign map for the Wish-hunter game I’m planning (possible podcast, fingers crossed), and a bugbear character based on the fact that I really want to play one in a game.
